As we all are aware of how crucial it is to check campaigns properly before sending them to subscribers. With NotifyVisitors test email/sms feature you can send test campaigns to your team members or collaborators before sending to all of your subscribers. However you are permitted to send a certain number of emails/sms though.

Learn about test email and sms sending restrictions in this article, as well as what you can do once you have reached your limit.

Why do we limit test sends

To ensure the integrity of our services and prevent misuse, we have implemented specific limitations on test emails and sms.

For users with free accounts, a daily maximum of 100 test emails or sms is allowed. If this limit is exceeded, our system may flag it as potentially fraudulent, leading to a temporary suspension of your account. To restore access, we kindly ask you to reach out to our support team.

For those with paid accounts, a higher daily limit of 500 test emails or sms is in place. While surpassing this limit on a paid account will not result in immediate suspension, you will be restricted from sending additional test campaigns for that particular day.

It's essential to emphasize that there are no restrictions when sending test emails to designated test segments; these limitations solely pertain to individual email addresses.

Furthermore, when sending test emails, please remember that a maximum of 20 email addresses or phone numbers can be included in a single attempt.

What should I do If my test email wasn’t delivered

  • Check the recipient's email address for typos or mistakes.
  • Check your email account's spam or junk mail folder to see if the email was delivered there.
  • Check with the recipient to see if they have a firewall or spam filter that may be blocking the email.
  • If you are using a new email account, it's possible that the email provider's servers have not yet been fully set up or configured. In this case, you may need to wait a little longer for the email to be delivered.

Why my test sms wasn’t delivered

  • Check to make sure that the phone number you are sending the SMS to is correct.
  • Check to see if the phone you are sending the SMS to is turned on and has a signal.
  • Make sure that you have a strong signal on your phone as well. If your phone has low signal strength, it may not be able to send the SMS.
  • Make sure that you have sufficient credits on your NV account or service provider account to send SMS messages.
