Emails can keep your customers informed. You can send campaigns to generate sales, enhance customer engagement, acquire customers, create brand awareness, and reward customer loyalty. For existing customers, email marketing emphasizes communication and awareness.

A broadcast email includes an announcement or a message that organizations usually send to a large group of individuals at once. The idea behind the broadcast campaign is to communicate and reach people as quickly as possible.

How To Create An Email Broadcast Campaign In NotifyVisitors

  1. To create an email broadcast, navigate to the NotifyVisitors Dashboard > Campaigns.
  2. Now, select Email, given in the 'Reach Users Via' category.

  1. There are five stages to create an email campaign viz.
  • Recipients
  • Content
  • Review
  • Send / Schedule
  • Resend Setup

Now, in the Recipients stage, there are three sections that you need to fill to proceed further:

Campaign Information: Add your Campaign's Name and Campaign's Label.

Recipients: Determine whether you want to send the campaign to all the users or send it to users in multiple segments / don’t send it to users in specific segments. You can also choose subscription groups for which the campaign is all about.

Note: Those users will not receive this campaign who have already unsubscribed to the selected groups.

Tracking: Choose the option to track the open rates, click rates or replies to the emails.

Do Not Disturb: By enabling DND Settings of your campaign, you can prevent users from receiving campaigns during odd hours, such as when they may be asleep.

UTM Parameters: UTM helps track the progress of the campaign on all online platforms like Google analytics. Choose UTM if you want to track user engagement for any particular campaign.

Deduplicate Users: Enabling Deduplicate users will ensure that a particular email address doesn't receive any Email campaign multiple times, even if you have various users with the same email address.

Frequency Capping: Enabling frequency capping allows you to control the number of campaigns a user receives within a Day, Week, or Month and keep a consistent interval between consecutive messages (sent through multiple channels or the same channel).

Conversion Tracking: Conversion tracking shows when a recipient opens your message and then takes another action (such as placing an order) within the conversion period. Choose conversion tracking if you want to track down the conversions for any particular campaign.

Now, click on Continue To Content.

  1. On the Content stage, you need to add content information.

Subject: Give your email campaign a catchy subject line to get more open rates. Add personalization to catch more attention of the users.

Sender Name: When you send bulk marketing email, your email 'From' name (the display name, also known as the email Sender Name) tells your recipients who sent them the message.

Email Preheader: Give your campaign an impressive Email Preheader. It is the summary text that follows a subject line when the email is viewed in an inbox. It gives the clients an idea of what’s inside the message before they actually open it. Know more.

Sender Email Address: A sender address is always a business email address and reflects the 'From' part of an email creation so that the recipient can identify the sender of the email. Further you can use this as your reply to the email address through the checkbox just below the Sender Email address or you can choose some other reply to email by unchecking the checkbox. Additionally, there is an option to manage sender email addresses where you can add the Sender Email. This new sender email is required to be verified. After the verification you can make use of it as a sender email in an email campaign. Know more.

Template Setup

Set up the template for your email campaign. You can either choose to create a simple Rich text message or can use an email builder to create an attractive HTML email template.

A/B Testing

You can perform A/B testing to find the best template to work with.

Now, click on Continue To Review.

  1. In the Review stage, you can review all the information that you have added in the initial two stages.

Additionally, you can utilize the 'Campaign Distribution' feature through which you can send the campaign to subscribers in batches.
